Looking to learn more of basic computer skills or just to refresh your skills on the computer? On April 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Shawnee Community College Cairo extension center will be a free Basic Skills Training. For more information please see flyer.
Penny Wars will be starting tomorrow, March 31st and run until Friday, April 4th at Meridian Elementary. The class that collects the most pennies will be treated to a dance party. All funds collected will go towards our end of the year PBIS party. Please see attached flyer with Penny War details. Money buckets will be located in the Elementary Office. April 4th baseball game vs Agape is being moved to April 24th at 4:30
Meridian's First and Second grade students participated in a Farm Frenzy at Century Elementary. Illinois Ag in the classroom provided students with several fun hands-on activities, demonstration stations and take-home activities. Students also received a goody bag with a coloring book, and farming information. Students learned about soil, touched a combine, made dirt cups with worms, experienced a petting zoo and more.
